Make every pharmacy action accountable

When something goes missing, the worst answer is 'we don't know who'. PharmHive stamps every sale, return, discount, and stock change with the person who did it, so questions have answers and honest staff have proof.

Common questions

How do I know which cashier made a sale?

Every sale is stamped with the user who processed it, at the moment it happens. The sales list, the shift summary, and the audit trail all show the name, so 'who sold this?' is never a debate.

My staff share one computer. How does the system tell them apart?

The desktop till has per-user PIN login: each staff member taps their name and enters their own 4-digit PIN, like an ATM. Switching users takes seconds, and every action is recorded under the person who actually did it, not under a shared account.

Can a cashier reprint a receipt whenever they want?

Only if you let them. A cashier doesn't get receipt reprinting by default - it's a permission the owner grants per person. If a cashier doesn't have it, the button isn't there, and any reprint that does happen is by someone you chose to trust with it.

What happens at shift handover?

Each shift opens with a counted float and closes with a physical cash count. The system computes the expected drawer from that shift's cash sales, records the surplus or shortage against the shift with the cashier's name, and a manager or owner can review and approve every closure.

Can staff edit or delete a sale to cover a mistake?

No one can - once a sale is completed there is no edit or delete for it, not even for the owner. Mistakes are corrected through returns, which are recorded under the person who processed them and can be routed through owner approval, so corrections are visible instead of silent.

Does accountability work when the internet is down?

Yes. The desktop app records everything locally with the same user stamps and syncs when the connection returns, so an outage never becomes a blind spot in your records.
